Summer Theater Lab is back this August! Join this wacky, fun-packed two-week kids' theater intensive for a high-energy riff on pop culture!
From Phantom of the Opera to silent films to Zorro to horror classics, students will have a blast exploring acting, costume-making, dance, improv, scriptwriting, prop-making, mask-making, and more!
Led by the crack team who brought you the brilliant The Wizard of Cod in 2018 and the very compelling Green Eggs in Eastham in 2019, student players will dive in and create a ridiculously entertaining seaside spoof with theater educator Ed O'Toole (BHS and the Center's Camp Shakespeare) and dance teacher Susan Friedman (founder of Dancing for a Cure and the Center's popular tap program).

Pack a brown-bag lunch and a water bottle, wear a mask, and come prepared to move, play, create, invent, learn, and laugh in the Center's outdoor classroom under the red tent (or inside the Schoolhouse in bad weather).
Summer Theater Lab will culminate in a 1-hour presentation of (drum roll, please) SILENCE OF THE CLAMS...UNMUTE YOURSELF! for friends and family on the last day of class.
