Historical Museum reopens
The Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum in Yarmouth Port is reopening for tours on June 17. The fully furnished 19th century Victorian home features silk, porcelain and marine artifacts from Yarmouth sea captains’ Far East seafaring days. Docent-led tours will be offered through Oct. 10 on Thursday through Sunday at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Historical Society of Old Yarmouth will feature an exhibit of the Salt Works history in Yarmouth.

General admission is $5. HSOY members, youth under 18, active military personnel and Yarmouth residents are free but reservations are still required.
