Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on four Saturdays, beginning June 5, from 10am-noon. This class meets online on Zoom. Learn to draw realistic portraits from photo references. These references will be provided in digital format to use for the duration of the course as you draw in your home studio.  We will start the class by drawing and learning the structure of each individual feature such as the eyes, the ears, nose, mouth. Next, we will focus on proportions, the anatomy of the skull, light and shadow patterns. The class consists of lectures, demonstration videos, and one-on-one critiques via Zoom. For critiques, students are encouraged to e-mail well-lit digital photos of their artwork. The instructor will use Photoshop to make notes and annotations on the photos.
