Join Save Our Sound's monthly webinar series A Celebration of Nantucket Sound (ACONS) on Thursday, June 3 at 6:00pm with guest artist Mark Alan Lovewell, a celebrated musician, writer, and storyteller. A longtime Martha's Vineyard resident, Mark will be performing songs and sea chanties tied to Nantucket Sound and its history.
Mark has performed on both coasts, from New England to Hawaii and Alaska. A descendant of a New England whaling family, he is a fisherman conservationist and an advocate for all things that are nautical, from preserving our maritime heritage to caring for our waterfront communities.
