This class continues the exploration in clay.  You’ve taken 101 a time or two, or are coming in with the basics of centering, pulling walls, and constructing simple hand-built forms, and you’re looking to refine and add to your skill set in this advanced beginner to intermediate level class.   Designing, making, and trimming bowls and plates will be covered on the wheel and surface design techniques like slip trailing, sgraffito, stencils, and wax resist will be covered in hand-building.

Classes also include ample access to the studio during posted open studio hours. Ceramics is an art form that benefits from practice and social time outside of class time. All classes include 25 pounds of clay, and the glazing and firing of those 25#. Additional clay may be purchased if needed.
