ENOUGH

Presented by Cape Cod Museum of Art at Cape Cod Museum of Art

ENOUGH: April 8 to May 30, 2021

Artist Jane Lincoln put aside the traditional tools of the trade for this series that focuses on mass shootings which have occurred in the United States.

Instead of a paint brush she picked up a large spike and hammered it through black Canson paper. She makes one ragged hole for each gunshot death as if shot by a bullet. In total she has created forty-two pieces that tell the story of these mass shootings.
The intent is to make visual the hard, cold facts and prompt the viewer to reflect on the real loss of life.

Reception: Thursday, April 15, 4pm - 7pm . Jane will be in attendance.
Check website in advance for any preregistration requirements due to mass.gov restrictions
