This series of slide talks will show the trajectory of Contemporary Painting over the past 50 years.  The five session lecture series will explore a decade per session, from 1970 to 2020, presenting innovations, shifts, and trends of late 20th/early 21st century painting. Significant American and International painters will be presented with an emphasis on multicultural, LGBTQIA, and women artists.

This is an opportunity to immerse oneself beyond the local scope of Cape Cod Art. Contemporary Painting will inspire and educate the artist and art lover. The lecture will be approximately 40 minutes followed by a discussion period for questions and comments.
