Members’ Exhibitions at PAAM represent the work of contemporary artist-members of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. Many of these artists live on Cape Cod either full-time or for part of the year. While the work varies greatly in media and approach, each artist-member joins a long roster of distinguished artists who have studied, taught, and exhibited at PAAM over the past 100 years. There is no submission fee for members’ exhibitions, but membership must be valid for the duration of the exhibition.

Juried exhibitions at PAAM represent a smaller cross-section of member artists whose work has been chosen by a guest curator after being submitted. Each show reflects the aesthetic judgment and curatorial eye of invited jurors. Any member in good standing may submit their work for consideration. There is no theme or size restriction for this exhibition.

For this exhibition, we’re holding two Drop-Off Days: Monday, January 11, 11am-2pm and Tuesday, January 12, 11am-2pm. We are not able to accommodate unscheduled or late drop-offs (the office is closed to the public). If you would like to drop off early during Museum Hours, please make a reservation. If you need to make different drop-off arrangements, email Lesley (lmarchessault@paam.org). When dropping off, please be sure to wear your mask and maintain distance between yourself and other parties. To save time when dropping off, you can fill out an Artwork Receipt ahead of time; if you’re shipping your work, please include that receipt.

Membership must be valid through April, 2021; anyone is welcome to join or renew when dropping off work. All members in good standing are invited to submit to this exhibition. Work must arrive dry and equipped with a hanging device. All types of media welcome. 1 submission/person. There is no submission fee for members’ exhibitions. Members submitting to Member Exhibitions agree to the Member Exhibition Policies.

The exhibition will be Juried on Wednesday, January 13. Names of selected artists will appear on this page by Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. If your work is not selected for the Members’ Juried exhibition, please pick it up from 12PM-5PM on Friday, January 15 – Monday, January 18. We appreciate your patience as a staff member locates your work and brings it to you in the Museum lobby.
