This will be an informal studio class for watercolor painters to work on building their individual skills in a supportive environment. All levels welcome but participants should have a working knowledge of the medium as well as basic color mixing.

Each week will feature a different subject to paint from life and a different technical problem to solve but students are also welcome to bring their own projects to work on or complete.

This is not a sequential skill-based class or technical class with specific lesson plans so real beginners may wish to consider a more structured class (please see Mary's Watercolor for Scaredy Cats options which will be offered this winter.) It is meant to be an open studio work environment for those who like to work in the company of others and share positive, supportive critiques and conversation.
