Join master metalsmiths and experienced jewelry artists Elisa Sullivan (Swirls Jewelry) and Laura Jane Bouton (LjBjewelry) in this exciting and challenging new class! Students will create stacking rings and bangles. All supplies and tools are included, and there is a lab fee for the metals used in class, payable in cash or check to the instructors at the first class (will vary depending on ring and bangle size) — around $30.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Through observation, classroom demonstration, and lectures, the student will learn about and then create stacking rings and bangles in a studio environment. Students will learn various techniques such as soldering, sawing, annealing, forging, and polishing.
Students will be working with a micro torch, jeweler’s saw, and various hand tools.
