Whether you are an advanced beginner or a seasoned professional, if you bring a plan, idea or inspiration, this “open studio” style class will focus on your questions, as well as give you personalized instruction from an experienced ceramics teacher.
This “open studio” style class allows ceramists with varied interests and skill levels to hone their craft in a collaborative setting. Whether you are an advanced beginner, or you are a seasoned professional, this class will grant you access to asking questions and receiving personalized instruction from a ceramic artist with decades of making and teaching experience. Bring a plan, idea or inspiration to class, and we will work on getting you from point A to point B. Demonstrations are guided by student requests, and you can sit in on as many or as few as you wish.
We will be looking ahead to Spring, and our flowers and gardens, to provide a focus, as we come through a dark winter. Flowerpots, handbuilt flower bricks, and vases will be demonstrated for those that are interested.
You will get the most out of this class, and contribute the most to your peers if you have some familiarity with working with clay.
$420, $385 with Early Bird registration discount by December 15, 2020.
*All classes include 25 pounds of clay, and the glazing and firing of those 25#. Additional clay may be purchased if needed.
