Presented by Cahoon Museum of American Art at Cahoon Museum of American Art

The Museum currently has three gallery exhibitions on display through December 22, 2020:  Salley Mavor: Bedtime Stitchesdebutsthe original artwork for Falmouth artist Salley Mavor’s recently published book,My Bed: Enchanting Ways to Fall Asleep Around the World.  The exhibition includes all18 original fiber artworkillustrations that celebrate cultural differences and highlight the universal theme of children sleeping safelyin their beds.Along with the illustrations, additional artworks by Ms. Mavor will be on view, including two fairy houses, many of her Felt Wee Folk, her Doll House, as well as composition books and objects from her home studio.

Edward Curtis: Shadow Catcher presentsa selection of 32 early 20thcentury photogravures from Curtis’ renowned body of work, The North American Indian, which remains one of the most significant records of Native American culture ever produced.

Adria Arch: Interference features an installation of oversized, colorful, and interconnected shapes that emerge from the Museum’s lobby, pop out of hearths, tumble down the stairwell, and playfully encompass the Museum’s public spaces.
