Eastwind Gallery in Orleans, MA reopened for the 2020 season on June 11th with fifteen gallery artists displaying a diverse array of artwork including paintings, photography, and originally crafted jewelry. The Featured Artist for 9/22 through 9/26 will be Cassandra S. Guidess.

A lifelong fascination with art, and painting in particular, has led to decades of self-study via observation, reading and instruction by renowned painters on Cape Cod and in Connecticut. Painting primarily in oil and occasionally in acrylic, Cassandra is an award-winning artist whose work has shown in juried shows in Connecticut and on Cape Cod and whose work may be found in private collections throughout the United States.

Cassandra is currently a member of and shows with the Eastwind Gallery in Orleans, MA, the Watertown Art League (WAL) (CT), the Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston, CT featuring the Ten-To One Artists, the Yarmouth Art Guild (YAG) Yarmouth, MA, and the Cape CodCreative Arts Center (CCCC) in Chatham, MA. Additionally, Guidess shows at the Artist’sCottages annually in Orleans, MA.

Eastwind Gallery has implemented recommended health precautions necessary to provide a sanitized and safe environment through a comprehensive daily sanitation regimen to minimize the risk of infection. Visitors are asked to wear masks.

Eastwind Gallery is a cooperative gallery located downstairs between Watson’s Men’s Apparel & Gallant Jewelry in the heart of the Orleans Cultural District. Enter from Main St. or Main St. Square where FREE parking is available behind Watson’s with a rear entrance to the gallery.
