Editing Flower Photos Using iColorama on Zoom

This class is geared toward beginning learners who are using an iPad to edit their photos and/or to create digital images. Some basic understanding of iC is helpful but not required. Each learner should have the following available and set up prior to the first class:

An iPad with the most up-to-date operating system, which is currently iPadOS 13.6.1
The most up-to-date edition of iC, which is currently version 4.5
A second device with internet access for participating in the classes via Zoom [Note: If you’re planning to use a cell phone for this, please download and install the Zoom app prior to the first class]
An Apple pencil is helpful but not mandatory
A note pad and pen may be helpful too

Learning objectives: 1) Create a class folder within your camera roll. 2) Select an image to edit (sample images will be provided or you can use an image of your own). 3) Import the image into iColorama and set the resolution. 4) Determine the ideal canvas size using the Form tool. 5) Modify the overall exposure and tonality of the image using the Adjust tool. 6) Practice using the Masking tool to adjust and/or eliminate elements within the image. 7) Experiment with the Style tool to alter the character of the image. 8) Experiment with the Effect tool to further enhance the image. 9) Select a complimentary color palette from the edited image. 10) Design a separate background image using the Texture and Brush tool. 11) Incorporate the edited image with the background using the Blending tool. 12) Finalize your image, and create and apply a signature (if desired). 13) Share and discuss final images.
