Nature Screen at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents Curiosity Stream’s The Neanderthals’ Dark Secret Wednesdays, October 7 and October 21, 2020 at 11:30am.
Deep inside a remote system of forbidding subterranean caves in Northern Spain called El Sidron, a once in a lifetime discovery of 49,000-year-old Neanderthal bones has been made.
It is within these caves that Paleontologist Antonio Rosas and Archaeologist Marco de la Rasilla are in their 11th year of excavation heading up a team of scientists from across Spain in an effort to reach back in time to solve the biggest Neanderthal puzzle of them all: why WE are here and Neanderthals are not.
Join us every month for compelling, educational and visually stunning nature documentaries that inspire appreciation, curiosity and stewardship of our natural world and its inhabitants.
