Intermediate and advanced students will study contemporary ceramics as inspiration for our own work, with class time devoted to making work, one-on-one consultation, and demos, which will relate to the specific artists the students choose to emulate.
The instructor will introduce work by a variety of artists and will ask students to do their own research as well, with some sources provided. Meetinghouse Clay Center classes are limited to six students. The center adheres to CDC and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Covid-19 protocols for social distancing and face coverings, and has hand-washing and sanitizing stations.
