Saturday, August 15, 10:00 – 5:00, the Meetinghouse Clay Center’s Inaugural Art Festival, outdoors (social distancing and masks) with ceramics, jewelry, flowers, clothing, photography, baked goods, clay demonstrations and sculpture installations.
Over a dozen local and regional artists will exhibit their creative work, including Meetinghouse resident artists, Amy Eldridge, Valerie Brady-Murray, Brenda Kerr, and Cassandra Weare. Ginnie Peterson and Sally Fine, also Meetinghouse resident artists will create sculptural installations in the Meetinghouse gardens. Sarah Caruso, Meetinghouse founder will display her creative work, along with those of fellow faculty members, Sue Wadoski, Anna Murfin, and Corrinn Jussell.
Additional vendors include Seth Rainville, ceramicist, Tuff Kookooska, children’s fleece clothing and handcrafted masks, Jen Kano, photographer, Brick Kiln Farm, floral bouquets, and Cataumet Creations by Kendall Cyr, tasty confections, canine treats and handmade crafts. Light refreshments for sale. Activities for youth provided. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the Bourne Food Pantry. Rain date will be Sunday, August 16.
