The Glass Artistry of Isabel Green

The Glass Artistry of Isabel Green

Presented by Sandwich Glass Museum & Historical Society at Sandwich Glass Museum

Recently featured in Cape Cod Life as one of the Cape's rising artistic stars and known for her intricate flamework and realistic depiction of sea creatures, including sharks, octopuses and herbit crabs.

Isabel began working with glass at a young age under the tutelage of master glassblower David McDermott and his equally talented wife Yukimi Matsumoto of McDermott Glass Studion in Sandwich, Massachusetts.  Working with the studio team has allowed Isabel an opportunity for incredible growth and experimentation.  After serving an apprenticeship, Isabel has become an amazing glass artist in her own right.  Be sure to stop by and see her work - the wonderful aquatice creatures that grace the cases of our Contemporary Gallery, through November 3, 2020.  All of these and many more are available for sale in the Museum's Gift Store.
