Primary Strings is the entry-level ensemble of the Cape Youth Orchestra Program. It is especially tailored to kindergarten through 3rd-grade students interested in pursuing the violin or cello. Prior music experience is helpful but not necessary. During rehearsals, students will learn technique, rhythm development, basic notation, and practice skills. Students above grade 3 are encouraged to register for lessons and work toward establishing criteria for acceptance into Debut Strings.
