Moving Toward a Sustainable Practice

Moving Toward a Sustainable Practice

Presented by Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill at Truro Center for the Arts

Have you been curious about what it means to be sustainable in our fast-paced modern world?  How can I lessen my carbon footprint and still produce viable and interesting work?  In this three-day workshop, we will be exploring what it means to be a sustainable artist.  We will examine our daily practices from materials to process and break down ways to be more sustainable.  Let’s also take a field trip to view and discuss the work of 6 well known sustainable artists. Students must bring an open mind and a small portfolio representative of their work.  Together we can make a difference that ripples outward and keeps the conversation moving forward.
All disciplines welcome.
