As part of the Gardening for Life Speaker Series, the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History has cancelled Landscaping For Birds, Bugs and Beyond with wildlife ecologist Mark Faherty, Sunday, April 5, 2020 at 1pm.
Birds and insects have declined dramatically within the past several decades. Learn how your landscaping practices could help stem the tide of this loss. Discover how easy it is to be a part of the solution. Mark will encourage us to become a sustainable gardener by gardening for all life forms.
Mark Faherty, a wildlife ecologist, has been the Science Coordinator at Mass Audubon, Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary since 2007. For the past four years he has produced weekly radio essays on Cape and the Islands bird life plus cohosts a call in show on WCAI’s The Point. Faherty is a past president of the Cape Cod Bird Club, an international tour leader, and a member of the Mass Avian Records Committee.
