Auction Under the Stars Live Auction Event Postponed
Until June 13th;
Silent Auction Online Bidding Begins April 4th

Falmouth Academy is committed to the health and well-being of all who contribute to our vibrant community. Given current recommendations regarding public gatherings in light of the corona virus pandemic, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Live Auction and Fund-A-Need components of the Auction Under the Stars fundraising event until June 13. However the Silent Auction, Wish Notes, and Fund-A-Need portions of this important event will be available online starting on April 4.

Falmouth Academy’s annual auction is our most important fundraising initiative of the year, providing critically important support for all that we do at school. Broad-based community participation is key to our success!

Although the format of the Auction will change slightly this year, it is no less important, and promises to be just as fun. Please help us reach our goal of raising at least $80,000 in support of our school over the next few months. There are a number of ways to participate in this year’s Auction Under the Stars, both remotely and in person. Visit our auction website at bit.ly/FAauction to purchase tickets to the June 13 event, to view silent, live and Wish Note auction items, to learn more about our Fund-a-Need priorities, to place bids for all but Live Auction items, and to track our fundraising progress in real time.

Tickets are not required to bid on Silent Auction items, but are required for the June reception, which will include a delightful menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Jacqueline’s Catering, and an open beer and wine bar, plus specialty cocktail. Due to these menu changes, ticket prices for this event have been reduced to $50 per person.

So…please participate in this year’s Auction by bidding generously and bidding often, and registering to attend our Live Auction/Fund-A-Need event on campus on June 13. We are grateful for your support and can’t wait to celebrate our success with you “Under the Stars” in June!

Register NOW to place your bids for items in our Silent Auction and Wish Notes catalog, as well as Fund-A-Need. Bidding will go live on April 4th. Descriptions and photos (if available) for all items will be provided. Sign up at bit.ly/FAauction to view items and bid online.

Silent Auction closes April 30. Donors will be informed of any winning bids and be asked to approve payment with their saved credit card.

Fund-A-Need opens online May 1 and, along with Wish Notes, continues through the June 13th Live Auction Event.
