In this basic bead weaving workshop, you will learn the Peyote Stitch, and then Kim will introduce ways it can be applied so you can invent your own designs and make a unique pair of earrings or a ring.
Join the best hugger, Kim Collins, for a basic bead weaving workshop. Her workshops are designed to build confidence in an informal atmosphere where having fun is the main goal. She will provide all the materials needed to make the projects. You get to choose colors from her rainbow of beads.
This workshop will focus on a stitch called Peyote Stitch. It is tight, geometric, and structured. After learning the basics of the stitch, Kim will introduce ways it can be applied creatively so you can invent your own designs. Students will make a pair of earrings or a ring to demonstrate how this stitch can be applied. $20 materials fee paid directly to Kim.
