Teargas, Turmoil, and Tyranny in Hong Kong

Teargas, Turmoil, and Tyranny in Hong Kong

Presented by Cotuit Library at Cotuit Library

Cotuit Library hosts an individual who was present during some of the Hong Kong protests this past year and wishes to share their story:

Do you enjoy the freedom that comes with living in the United States? Do you know about what's happening in Hong Kong - perhaps from the news? Would you like to hear what's actually happening from someone who was struggling for freedom in the teargas, face to face with riot police? During Teargas, Turmoil, and Tyranny in Hong Kong, I will give a broad overview of what has been happening there (including certain parts the news won't show you), as well as recount my firsthand experiences with other protesters. Hear about the roles of companies like Apple, Disney, and Marvel, as well as China and the United States in this revolutionary affair. If your freedom were on the line, wouldn't you want someone to listen?

Admission is free, though donations are welcome. Please register at cotuitlibrary.org/events--activities or contact the Library.
