Fourth Friday Coffeehouse Series

Presented by Sandwich Arts Alliance at Sandwich Town Hall

Local Musician Adam Hofmann Performs at Upcoming Fourth Friday Coffeehouse

The Fourth Friday Coffeehouse Series, made possible by The Sandwich Arts Alliance and the Sandwich Town Hall Preservation Trust, returns to Sandwich Town Hall on January 24th at 7 pm with East Sandwich resident Adam Hofmann at the piano. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Hofmann, who curates much of talent for Fourth Friday, conceptualized the Coffeehouse Series which was introduced this past December. He is a producer, performer, songwriter, bandleader, mix engineer and entrepreneur, having studied music production at Berklee College of Music in Boston. A natural collaborator, Hoffman lives for live music and his passion is in creating, listening, writing, mixing and experiencing the full potential of sound.

According to event manager Todd Herrmann, the Coffeehouse meets a need in the community for a monthly series featuring top performers who want to interact with the audience. The concept is to enable the audience to enjoy the creations by singer-songwriters and learn a bit more about the performers and what led them to make some of the musical, lyrical and life choices they did.

“The Sandwich Arts Alliance has been envisioning a coffeehouse series since its founding five years ago, and Hofmann’s passion has brought it to life. We thank the Sandwich Town Hall Preservation Trust for providing this iconic performance space”, explained Herrmann.

Hofmann’s line-up is impressive with Livingston Taylor, Will Dailey, and Patty Larkin on the roster and in February, Monica Rizzio will be performing on the Fourth Friday stage.

Herrmann also added, “This is a unique opportunity to hear music in a beautiful and intimate setting with fantastic acoustics. Also, Adam has a very talented family and group of friends so who knows who else might be making an appearance at this special coffeehouse”.

Fourth Friday Coffeehouse is a non-alcoholic event where all ages are welcome. Coffee will be provided by Cape Cod Coffee, and water and soft drinks will also be available for purchase. Snacks will be provided in January by the Sandwich Band Boosters as a fundraiser.
