Since he retired in 2012 he has written a column on Birding for the Cape Cod Times Newspaper, presented for Libraries, Garden Clubs and schools and has actively birded for over 40 years.He now works summers on the Barnstable Harbor Ecotour pontoon boat as head naturalist and volunteers as a docent at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History winters.
