Hand building is one of the most versatile ways of transforming clay into useful objects. In this class all levels of students will be accommodated according to their skill level. Through demonstrations and personalized instruction, the class will be tailored to the individual. We will learn coil, slab and pinch methods to make every day functional ware for the table, home and garden. Using these three methods alone or in combination opens up a wealth of possibilities. Learn basic techniques or if you are more skilled, use them as a stepping point from which to take off on your own! All tools, materials and firings are included.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
