Sandwich Village Alive with the Sound of Music at PorchFest!
An enjoyable walk through picturesque downtown Sandwich will be enhanced this Columbus Day weekend by the sounds of live acoustic music streaming from the porches of homes and shops along the way. Free to the public, the 4th Annual PorchFest presented by the Sandwich Arts Alliance, takes place on Sunday, October 13th from 1-4 pm. Rain date October 14th.
Shops and cafes will be open during the event and maps will be available online and at all porches to guide visitors along the walkable trail. The performers are all Sandwich Arts Alliance musicians who will play two ninety-minute sets along Main Street, School Street, Jarves Street and Route 6A.
You’re likely to hear blues, pop, jazz, folk, R & B, ethnic, drums or ukuleles with about twenty acts featuring singers, guitarists and other instrumentalists for three hours of fabulous acoustic music.
