We shall be considering several “strange” tales, visual representations and having related discussions, in order to find inspirational material for all sorts of visual artists.
We shall talk of unusual experiences, drawn out of people's lives, as well
as reflect upon four chosen stories by a master writer in the "strange" tale
field of literature. There will be a number of relevant artworks presented to
the participants in the studio. One "strange" story, written by all students,
shall be required by the close of the workshop, which will be shared with
everyone in attendance. I hold my Ph.D in Literature, and have always found
my home in the Arts -- classical music, the cinema, visual art, and literature.
This workshop will take place from October 7th -- 10th, during half-days,
from 1 - 3 in the afternoon, at PAAM, at 460 Commercial Street, Provincetown.
Contact the Provincetown Art Association and Museum website to register.
The price is $225 for a four-day, half-day, workshop, from Oct. 7 - 10.
