The Adirondack Chair Trail Silent Auction is a major fundraising event for the Sandwich Arts Alliance, taking place outside under the tent at the Sagamore Inn on Route 6A in Sagamore.

An enjoyable evening with refreshments served, live music provided by Alliance musicians, and the chance to bid on one of the 22 decorated Adirondack chairs that have spent the summer outside various sites and businesses in Sandwich. Guests can remain under the tent or dine at the Sagamore Inn and return later to check on their bids. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event ($5 each or 3 for $10) for the Adirondack chair on display at the Inn.

This event is an exciting conclusion to the year-and-a-half Adirondack Chair Trail project that brought usable public art to Sandwich in a collaboration between the arts and local businesses. It also provided an opportunity to showcase 22 Alliance artists as well as 22 businesses, some new to the community.
