Scott Hamilton is one of the world’s premiere mainstream saxophonists. Now living in Italy, the Providence native stops in Woods Hole on a rare US tour to join Donna Byrne’s Quartet. This is his first appearance in Falmouth.

Over her distinguished three-decade career Ms. Byrne has performed at top venues including Scullers Jazz Club in Boston, Blues Alley in Washington, D.C., and the Blue Note in New York. She has eight solo CDs and has recorded with top jazz artists such as Bucky Pizzarelli, Scott Hamilton, Harry Allen, Dave McKenna and Herb Pomeroy. She brings her stellar back up group, each a jazz star in their own right, of Tim Ray (piano), Marshal Wood (bass) and Jim Gwin (drums).
