One of the joys of viewing art is making connections between new pieces and those with which we are familiar. It is particularly thrilling to see a painting or sculpture for the first time, but find some part of it recognizable or poignant because it reminded us of one of our favorites.
Come experience this with Beth Stein as she takes us through selected works from PAAM’s permanent collection. In this lecture format, each participant will have a brief overview of the individual artist’s career, examine a piece by the artist, view other works from the collection by the artist, and have the opportunity to see these selected works from the collection in the studio.
We will compare and contrast each of the Baker’s Dozen with iconic works, many of which you will know. AND you will be amazed at how much depth this class will add to your museum visits!
