As part of the 2019 Celebrate our Waters weekend, the Addison Art Gallery is sponsoring plein air painting, a fresh paint exhibition, book signings, reception and demonstration.

8 AM-NOON: Plein Air Painting
Artists from Cape Cod and beyond will be painting at waterside sites around Orleans. (Paul Schulenburg, Catherine Hess, Linda Beach, Andrea Petitto, Linda Turoczi, and Maryalice Eizenberg are among the artists who will be painting.) Their wet paintings will be brought to the Addison Art Gallery for an exhibition and reception from 4 to 6.

4-6 PM: Artists’ Reception, Demonstration and Book Signings
Amy Sanders will demonstrate building depth and luminosity with pastel as she works towards bringing a painting to life through multiple layers. Authors will be signing books. Questions and comments from audience member of all ages will be encouraged and add to the event.
