Jess Georges, the founder of Green Road Refill, will be speaking about simple ways we can steer ourselves in the direction of reducing our plastic footprint. The current plastic problem is daunting – from the great pacific garbage patch to current day recycling challenges. This one hour talk will focus on shifting our consciousness into a hopeful one –and propelling that hope into taking action!
The Green Road Refill bus, Bettie, will be on site starting at 3PM, selling all sorts of sustainable household items and teaching about their refill mission! 10% of purchases go to supporting the library!
