Louis Armstrong one of the first men of jazz and Neil Armstrong the first man on the moon were born on August 4th and 5th respectively. Satchmo would have been 118 and the “Giant leap” astronaut would have been 89. Satch was a New Orleans resident before moving to Corona Queens and Neil was a Cincinnati resident for many years.
We will enjoy barbecue from both of these great food cities. We will dine on New Orleans BBQ shrimp and andouille po boys, Cincinnati style BBQ turkey with The Montgomery Inn’s famous BBQ sauce, Cincinnati braised and grilled pork belly and finish with New Orleans bananas foster. We will taste The Sazerac cocktail, chilled Beaujolais and Pinot Noir.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
