The Mooncusser’s Tale:a History of Piracy and Family on Cape Cod

What were mooncussers? How did they effect the maritime history of Cape Cod? In this pot-pourri talk, uncover a little of our local history and how a legend  became an award-winning radio play.  The Mooncusser’s Tale, a haunting story of piracy and family conflict in 19th century Wellfleet, was a originally broadcast on WOMR-FM. Selections from the radioplay will be read during the program. This talk will also be accompanied by slides of places which inspired the The Mooncusser’s Tale. The author, Lee Roscoe, will be available for a Q&A after the event.
