John Nye, a recurring guest appraiser on the PBS Antiques Roadshow, is appearing at The East Sandwich Grange Hall along with his spouse, Kathy Nye, an art historian who volunteers off-stage vetting Antiques Roadshow guests and their treasures.
Kathy and John are the owners of Nye & Company Auctioneers in Bloomfield, NJ. The couple will be sharing their experiences behind the Roadshow scenes and talking about life in the antique trade. The audience will be treated to career high points, surprises, and great and memorable moments in the field.
The format will be an open forum and members of the audience will be encouraged to take part in the conversation at this non-appraisal event. This intimate, limited-seating show is open to the public and is expected to sell out quickly.
