The Sandwich Arts Alliance invites the public to celebrate the grand opening of their new home at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, May 31^st at 11 am followed by guided tours from 12-5 pm. The Alliance (SAA) will also be holding an open house both Saturday and Sunday, June 1^st and 2^nd from 10 am to 5 pm, featuring art on display and for sale, painting demos, and kid’s activities.

The SAA recently signed a two-year lease on the building formerly occupied by Modern Vintage at 124 Route 6-A, where the event is being held, adjacent to the former location of Splash Stationers.

At the weekend Open House, a special full-sized Adirondack chair, painted and decorated by an Alliance artist will be on display and up for raffle, and kids can paint mini Adirondack chairs as part of the SAA summer Adirondack Chair Trail activities.
