Conductor Chris Schroeder closes the Cape Youth Orchestra season with an exciting program featuring Gounod's Waltz from "Faust;" Brahms, Hungarian Dance No. 5; and the playful Russian Sailors' Dance by Glière. Other concert highlights include the Philharmonic Upper Strings performing Fandango! by McCashin; Philharmonic Woodwinds, under the direction of teaching artist / Cape Symphony principal oboe Betsy Doriss, performing Beethoven's Allegro for Musical Clock; and Debut Winds presenting Handel's Music from the Royal Fireworks.
