Nature Screen at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents PBS’ NATURE Documentary Animal Reunions during April School Vacation Week, April 16, 17 & 18, 2019 at 11:30am
In Animal Reunions, this documentary captures rare moments into the emotional capacities of animals and their ability to form bonds with humans. But can wild animals really feel joy, devotion and love? Most animal lovers are convinced that they do, and now scientists are beginning to agree as we discover the stories that bring those animal emotions to life. We meet orphaned elephants in Kenya, captive-bred gorillas released into the wild, and an orphaned chimpanzee released back into the wilds of the Congo with legendary chimpanzee researcher, Jane Goodall.
Through these incredible stories about human-animal relationships this film sets out to question not only the emotional intelligence of animals but the so-called divide between us and them.
Join us every month for compelling, educational and visually stunning nature documentaries that inspire appreciation, curiosity and stewardship of our natural world and its inhabitants.
