In Celebration of ArtWeek, the Eastham Painters Guild will be exhibiting at the Eastham Public Library with a special reception including 5″x7″ paintings and demonstrations on plein air painting equipment.
The Eastham Painters Guild kicks off their month-long special art exhibition "Living in a Postcard" at the Eastham Public Library with a reception on May 2, in celebration of ArtWeek. The exhibit will feature a special selection of small 5"x7" paintings featuring Cape Cod scenes. During the reception there will be an interactive session with artist materials for those interested in plein air painting. Participants will have a chance to move between easels set up in the plein air style and artists will discuss recommended materials, best practices, and more. This is a rare opportunity to learn from professionals sharing their knowledge and an exciting inside look at how to become a plein air painter on Cape Cod.

There will be an opening reception on May 2, from 5:00 to 6:30pm and refreshments will be served. During the reception members of the guild will demonstrate various types of plein air easels and the materials needed to paint outdoors on Cape Cod.
