The Cape Cod Museum of Art (CCMoA) will host an ARTfull Discussion – “The Art of Television: Public Access TV as a Means of Free Expression”.
Speakers from the Cape Cod Community Media Center will lead a presentation and panel-style
Q & A on running a public-access TV station, and the freedoms, restrictions, and benefits
involved in this little-known industry. What is PEG access? Who produces public access shows?
What types of content are produced? What are the benefits and impacts? What are the
restrictions and threats to the industry? These questions and more will be addressed by panelists Izzi Caplan, (Director of Communications & Membership), Kate McMahon (Director of
Outreach & Special Projects), and Jamie Horton (Training Coordinator).
