Join Odin in a series of sessions that change their directive each month and are devoted to working in a smaller and more intensive learning environment, to improve specific artistic skills. May’s Fearless Painter will be discovering how to allow the flow of the acrylic paint to direct the work, not necessarily the brush. Students will be trying new ways to paint more organic and engaging subjects using such things as applications of water from a spray bottle and alcohol to create new and unique formations of paint, as well as tools made from found or collected objects like sticks, cardboard, bubble wrap etc. They will be applying their techniques to make more creative, enchanting and unusual paintings. You may bring in any interesting found objects to use as unexpected tools, a spray bottle and any size canvases you feel most comfortable working in, and any acrylic supplies you normally use.
