ArtWeek Event: Surround yourself with the imaginative art work at Cross Rip Gallery and learn about creating beautiful maki rolls enjoying food, beverages and good cheer!
In the intimate setting of Cross Rip Gallery, with its opening exhibit of the season “Force of Nature” on display, Chef Ken of Bluefins Sushi & Sake Bar in Chatham will do a short presentation on the art of sushi: it’s history, how to make it and subtle techniques employed in making it the beautiful dish that so many have come to love.
He will be making a variety of traditional maki rolls that guests will eat afterwards. He will use whatever fish is best on the day of the event and will make sure to provide plenty of options for guests.
You will be surrounded by the imaginative and colorful work by well-known Cross Rip Gallery artists: Suzanne Packer, Heather Blume, Liz Perry, Kate Nelson, Eveline Luppi, Hollis Fortune, Leslie Kramer, John Howard, Georgene Riedl, Dianne Longchamps, Alla Zbinovsky, Martha Holden, Leah McCormick, Tom Wilson Jones, Richard Perry, John Moore and Jan Lhormer.
