Jazz pianist and arranger Mike Renzi is a winner of seven Emmy awards for his work on Sesame Street and Days of Our Lives. He was music director for Mel Torme and Peggy Lee for over 25 years. He’s the perfect compliment to any jazz vocalist, but especially Shawnn Monteiro, whose lyrical style brings out the emotion in any song. She’s shared the stage with jazz artists Clark Terry, Red Holloway, Ray Brown, Lionel Hampton and Stanley Jordan to name a few. Shawnn and Mike will play jazz standards and selections from their album, From Carmen with Love, a tribute to vocalist Carmen McRae. Bassist Paul Del Nero rounds out the trio.
