Attention Teachers & Parents! Now accepting registration for cape-wide contest
It’s time for all Cape Cod students, K-12 to get creative about stopping litter. “Litter-free begins with me!” is the theme of the Cape Cod Art Center’s Cape-wide poster contest designed to increase students’ awareness of how casually discarded trash spoils the unique beauty of Cape Cod and endangers wildlife in our woods and oceans.
The contest asks students from grades K through 12 to create posters illustrating what they believe is most important about preventing litter on Cape Cod. The contest is open to all students who are residents of Cape Cod -- public, private or home schooled.
The Cape Cod Art Center is requesting teachers, parents and students to confirm their participation in advance by emailing curator@capecodartcenter.org or by calling Rachael at (508) 362-2909.
Posters must be delivered to the Cape Cod Art Center between April 8 and April 10, during the hours of 10am and 4pm. All posters will be exhibited April 12 – 14. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded at a recognition ceremony and reception on April 14, 2019.
Detailed information and entry forms (required at drop-off) are available at www.capecodartcenter.org/postercontest/
