Fellows Reading: Gabe Kruis & J. Stillwell Powers

Poetry Fellow Gabe Kruis is a New Mexican poet living and writing in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. His work has been published in The Brooklyn RailAtlas ReviewPoor ClaudiaEveryday Genius, and at Well Greased Press. He is a co-founder of Wendy’s Subway and runs the Shitluck Reading series at the Tip Top Bar & Grill.

Fiction Fellow J. Stillwell Powers was born and raised in rural Massachusetts. A proud graduate of Greenfield Community College, he went on to earn his B.A. in English from Amherst College and his MFA in fiction from the University of Oregon. His fiction has been published in Willow Springs and Dogwood: A Journal of Poetry and Prose, and his nonfiction has appeared on the Ploughshares Blog.
