Ann, a young woman brimming with optimism and fairytale ideals of romance, dreams about finding "true love." Just when she thinks she's found it, she discovers her feelings are not returned, and the disappointment throws her into a downward spiral of romantic obsession, causing her to lose sight of what is real and what is her imagination. In order to reclaim her bearings on reality, she decides to make a film about her experience. The result is a vulnerable, hilarious and vibrantly stylized investigation of modern love. In Reality is a rollercoaster ride through the fantastical mind of a young woman in love.
