Watercolor Washes, Blooms, & Other Mysteries, January 2019

Watercolor Washes, Blooms, & Other Mysteries, January 2019

Presented by Cotuit Center for the Arts at Cotuit Center for the Arts

The main focus throughout will be on fine-tuning compositional skills and color mixing with a limited palette. Students will work from life, not photos. The emphasis will be on direct observation and painting with no under drawing. All classes will end with an informal sharing and critique of work done in class. Homework will also be assigned for those that would like to work at home during the week.

This class is not recommended for beginners.

Bring a regular sketchbook and whatever watercolor supplies you have to the first class and a class supply list, if necessary, will be discussed at that class. Please do not buy the cheapest watercolor sketchbook you can find. Canson makes a decent student grade sketchbook, 9 x 12” if you need to buy something before class starts.
