Design and cut stencils and learn to use them in your prints to block out areas, create new images, and use positive and negative shapes to advantage within layers of ink. ​You'll create stencils from tracing paper, Yupo (a waterproof synthetic paper), and mylar, all of which yield different and beautiful results. Explore some new techniques in your printmaking!
This class is for participants who have some experience in monoprints.
All materials are covered by the lab fee, payable to Alice at the first class.
Please bring a work apron/work shirt.
